ABOUT THE HEADER PHOTO
The image at the head of my blog is of a chandelier in Barcelona’s Casa Batllo, designed by famed modernisme architect Antoni Gaudi. In this house that defies convention, wood, tile, stone, and metal wave and flow evoking the feeling of an undersea paradise – complete with the scales and arched spine of a sea dragon for the roof.
This picture was taken during a 2007 Global Business Exchange in Barcelona to study “Strategy as Design,” employing the art and architecture of the city as a framework to learn about doing business in the realm of unexplored possibility.
